Decide if the Sin Print fits your wall. Compare the 11 x 17 inch foil poster to your room style, measure your space, and pick the right variant.
Quick answer
Buy the Sin Print if you have a wall area at least 16 inches wide and 24 inches tall and want an iridescent foil accent that catches light. Choose the 11 x 17 inch size for most bedrooms or desks; skip it if you need a small, non-foil print or live outside Canada and want a small size.
Why the 11 x 17 inch size works for most rooms
An 11 x 17 inch print is large enough to anchor a small wall without dominating it. In a bedroom, it fits neatly above a dresser or beside a desk. In a living room, it works as part of a gallery cluster rather than a standalone statement piece. Measure the width and height of your intended spot before ordering; the print needs a few inches of breathing room on each side to look intentional.
The foil trade-off: shine versus subtlety
The iridescent foil on the Sin Print adds a reflective quality that changes with the light. That makes it a strong choice for a room with directed light, such as a lamp or window nearby. But foil can also compete with other shiny objects or busy patterns. If your wall already has a lot of visual noise, a non-foil alternative may blend in more easily. The Sin Print is also available in non-foil versions for alternate variants, so you can choose based on how much shimmer you want.
Shipping limits for small sizes and non-foil variants
Small sizes of the Sin Print ship only from Canada. If you are outside Canada and want a smaller format, check the available options before committing. Non-foil alternatives are also available but do not include the iridescent finish. These are practical constraints, not quality differences, so plan your purchase around the variant that matches your location and preference.
Decision rules for buying and hanging the Sin Print
- Measure your wall first: Use painter's tape to mark an 11 x 17 inch rectangle on the wall. Step back and check if the size feels right for the room. If the tape looks too small, consider a larger print or a gallery arrangement. If the taped area leaves less than 2 inches of wall on any side, choose a smaller size or a different wall.
- Match the foil to your lighting: Place the print where it will catch light from a window or lamp without direct glare. Avoid spots with harsh overhead light that can wash out the iridescent effect. If the wall receives strong direct sunlight for hours, the foil may appear overly bright; a non-foil variant could be more comfortable.
- Confirm variant and shipping: Check the Type, Size, and Variant options before checkout. Small sizes ship only from Canada, and non-foil alternatives are available. If you are outside Canada and want a small size, verify that shipping is possible. Order the exact variant you need; the iridescent foil is not available on all alternatives.
