Spy x Family Print vs Watcha Doin' Print: Which Wall Art Fits?

Quick answer

Pick the Spy x Family Print if you want the lower-priced option at USD 23.80 and a familiar series anchor for your wall. Choose the Watcha Doin' Print if you prefer a lighter, more casual piece and don't mind paying USD 24.85 for it.

What actually differs between the two prints

On paper, these two are close relatives. Both are 11 x 17 inches on light card stock and 100lb coated paper, so the sheet size and surface feel will be nearly identical once framed. The real decision comes down to subject matter, price, and how each piece reads in a room.

That shared size matters more than it seems. An 11 x 17 inch print is a standard tabloid size, which means it fits common pre-cut mats and frames without custom work, and it can hold a wall on its own or sit in a small gallery grouping. Because the specs match, you are not choosing between a big statement piece and a small accent; you are choosing between two pieces with the same footprint.

The trade-off: series recognition vs neutral everyday humor

The Spy x Family Print leans on a recognizable series, which is a strength if you or the recipient already follows the show and wants that reference on the wall. The catch is that series-specific art tends to feel most at home in a fan-focused space, and it can date if your interests shift.

The Watcha Doin' Print trades that built-in recognition for a lighter, more casual tone. It is easier to slot into a shared room, a desk area, or a gift for someone whose taste you know less well. The trade-off is that it carries less instant meaning for a dedicated fan, and it costs USD 1.05 more at catalog price.

Price and value, without overreading the discount

The Spy x Family Print is listed at USD 23.80 against a USD 35.00 comparison price, and the Watcha Doin' Print at USD 24.85 against the same comparison price. Both sit in the same budget band, so the gap is small enough that subject matter should decide the purchase, not the dollar difference.

Because the paper and size are the same, neither print has a material advantage in print quality based on the supplied specs. If you are buying two pieces for one wall, the combined cost stays modest, and matching frames will do more for the look than the small price gap between them.

How to choose between them

• If the room is a dedicated fan space: Choose the Spy x Family Print. The series reference gives the wall a clear anchor, and the USD 23.80 price leaves room to add a second piece later. Measure your frame opening before ordering so the 11 x 17 inch sheet fits without trimming.
• If the room is shared or multipurpose: Choose the Watcha Doin' Print. Its lighter, more casual tone is easier to place in a bedroom, dorm, or living area that other people also use.
• If you are buying as a gift: Match the print to what the recipient already watches. A known series is the safer gift when you are confident of their taste; the Watcha Doin' Print is the safer choice when you are not. Ask whether they already own a frame in this size before you buy.
